|The wash was part of the "Dry
Creek" at one time I guess. It fills from the creek with the
first water running into a ever growing sinkhole. During heavy rains it
can more than double in size reaching a depth of about 4.5M while in
flood. Normal depth is 3M. Current visible depth of the sinkhole is around
As the water drains away at the end of winter a stream will form from the sinkhole to the creek & can flow for some days. It is not known if this is the water that flowed in or from another source.
